We need your help. We have
many opportunities that present
themselves to us at SOCALPRS.
Some of these are conferences
and public awareness events
where we would like to promote
the support group side of
SOCALPRS.com as well as spread
awareness of the dangers of
the paranormal.
Our current project is The
Dangers of the Paranormal,
a media based project promoting
awareness and education for
kids and teens. This project
is important to us and will
reach families nationwide
with help from our donors
and sponsors. The banner for
this project is below.

We have already spent over
$1500 dollars out of our own
pockets for this project because
we believe it is necessary
to bring this awareness to
the general public. The Dangers
of the Paranormal website
is live and we have filmed
interviews with some of the
most respected names in the
paranormal community. Many
of these interviews have already
been made public, as part
of the Dangers of the Paranormal
campaign. Eventually these
interviews will be made into
a full length documentary
for the tv viewing public.
PSA's will be viewed on television
and disclaimers will be placed
before any paranormal related
show. This will come in time.
It will come one step at a
time. . . This project will
be our main focus for the
remainder of 2008. We are
asking for donations and sponsorships
to help cover some of the
costs related to the travel
expenses, pro gear rentals,
equipment rentals and additional
costs we need to cover for
this project to continue as
it is meant to.
There are group related expenses
that we regularly occur in
the investigation side of
our group.
Most expenses incurred are
due to transportation, equipment
and spiritual cleansing supplies
that we purchase to use on
high level investigations.
Other opportunites are cases
that are out of the area.
We currently have four cases
in Riverside and one in Palos
Verdes. Riverside is 150 miles
round trip. Last month we
had a case in San Diego County.
We have recently had to consider
turning down out of the area
cases because of increasing
transportation related costs.
We , SOCALPRS,
will never charge a client
for any costs related to equipment,
gas, transportation, lodging
and other investigation related
expenses. These costs come
out of our pocket.
We work as much
as we can in order to be able
to continue the SOCALPRS dream
- to help families and individuals
living with paranormal problems.
We have a high success rate
in solving these problems
and bringing normality back
into our clients lives. We
would like to continue to
help as many people as possible.
It was a hard decision to
turn down the opportunity
to help someone in need.
We have discussed
publically asking for sponsorship
and donations in order to
better assist those in need.
At the time we felt it was
not something we needed to
do. Despite the need for better
equipment, despite bouncing
our personal finances in order
to cover the costs of private
investigations, we stayed
positive.
We need your
help. We put ourselves in
danger going in to help those
in need, especially on high
level cases. We sacrifice
to do this and we love what
we do. But we are asking for
your assistance.
At this point
we would like to be open to
accepting sponsorship and
donations. We are no longer
able to represent SOCALPRS.com
at an upcoming convention
due to finances. We are spending
it on investigation related
costs for out of the area
cases. We are searching for
sponsors and donors to help
us with our awareness campain
for kids and teens. There
is an entire generation that
is watching television and
going out to ghosthunt without
realizing it can be dangerous.
Some of these are clients.
We are looking
for several sponsors and donors
to publically represent the
SOCALPRS dream at these conventions
in the future. We feel the
need to spread hope to survivors
and sensitives as well as
help prepare new teams for
the dangers of the paranormal.
We are also asking for donations
and or sponsorship for an
emergency fund to help cover
the additional investigation
costs for our growing caseloads
stemming from out of the area
private investigations. We
are already recruiting and
training new investigators
in order to help a growing
caseload. This adds to the
cost of the equipment we need
to properly serve our clients.
2008 has been
busy already. We logged over
2000 miles in less than a
month. Looking at the possibility
of cutting out clients due
to the cost of transportation
was the primary reason to
ask for sponsorship and donations.
We would have cancelled the
upcoming convention to help
out these cases if we had
that option. We are gifted
at helping those in need.
We can make a difference.
We are looking into other
forms of fundraising and support.
That will come in time. For
now we need your help.
If you would
like to be a sponsor in any
way, shape or form, please
contact us. We have added
a PayPal link for donations
and keep a public list of
everyone who has sponsored
the SOCALPRS dream. Thank
you in advance.
