The convention was a great success. Thank you again to Brad and Brandon from Louisiana Spirits for inviting us and pulling off a great event.

If you missed it, we gave the attendees the steps we utilize in consistently getting class A evp's from the spirit world. The emphasis of this presentation was on the importance of Respect and Intent that investigators need to consider utilizing while on investigations. Examples were given of these steps to show them in real life investigation situations. The basic outline of what we follow is below:

SOCALPRS EVP Presentation - Respect
We have a great deal of respect for the spirit world
Why?
There are Rules laws order in the spirit world
1. Ghosts are people too
2. We don’t know what we are dealing with
3. We state our intent to the spirit world
4. We ask permission (and get results)
5. We listen immediately
6. We don’t provoke
7. Discretion - We don’t post everything as some conversations are meant to be private

Evidence Premiers: We played a number of Class A evp's that have never before been heard by the general public. These were recorded at well known and historically haunted public locations in California. Residual and interactive evp's were heard from the Whaley House, Three child evp's were played recorded in different sections of Star of India in San Diego, CA. We also played some amazing Class A evp's recorded last fall at the Clovis Sanitarium (Wolfe Manor) in Clovis, CA. You may have seen two of these locations on recent editions of Ghost Hunters.

We played a clip from the "Who's There" documentary, where we took a skeptic to a former mental hospital and helped him to get his own evp. The segment from the ABC7 news section featuring the "I wanna hold" child evp was played as well. We discussed the possible dangers that may be involved with evp's, there are many investigators getting in trouble and evp's were where the problems started.

For everyone who attended, thank you for your great response to the presentation we gave. What you all heard was part of a three hour EVP 101 that we will be presenting in the future. You will get real life examples, protocols, theories, dangers, equipment, new technology, and the resources you need to capture your own evp's with assurance and confidence. Look for the full presentation at events in the future.

In answer to some of your questions:

1. Yes, we have a recording of the entire presentation, we are not yet making it public.
2. Yes, we will be giving similar presentation at events throughout the year, at each event we will be presenting new, never before seen audio and video of class A evp's recorded at locations around the country. We want every conference and seminar to be different and unique in the evidence you will hear for yourself. Check back monthly as new events are confirmed.
3. No, we do not have a cd or DVD or private web site that contains all of our evp's for sale. While this is not a new idea and would be a great way to provide income for our group and The Dangers of the Paranormal project, we will continue to present our class A evp's in live settings and in conference/workshop format. We made this decision years ago and will continue to stand by it.
4. For those who attended the investigation at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium after the event, yes, we did get evp's recorded in sessions with two of the large groups. If you were in one of these groups and sessions with us, feel free to email your recordings for comparisons with the 360 zoom recorder and the video. Let us know which group you were in and the area and session of the recording you are emailing. It is exciting to get the responses we got. For everyone who felt the entity in the movie set area upstairs, that was an AWESOME experience! For those of you who were not there, we encountered a very upset male entity in one of the rooms upstairs. Everyone either heard of felt the energy of this thing, without a doubt.
5. If you want to keep updated and informed, join us on MySpace, we will send out bulletins and updates about upcoming events and locations. Myspace is updated more frequently than this webpage. Link to our MySpace site: http://www.myspace.com/socalprs

6. Dangers of the Paranormal - all videos can be found at DangersoftheParanormal.com, or at MySpace.com/dangersoftheparanormal . Everyone be educated and informed of what these potential dangers are.
