Sept 21, 2009: In the three years that we have spent immersing ourselves in the paranormal, there have been many blessings. It has been almost three years ago exactly (2006) that I first met my wife, Sandi, wandering among the headstones at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in the midst of a paranormal investigation. We recorded some of the first words we ever spoke to each other. We also recorded our first EVP's together on the day. We found a common thread as well as a mutual understanding of the paranormal and the spirit world.

In the three years since, we founded this group with other sensitives, we got married in front of family and friends at a church in another cemetery and we performed a very large number of both public and private investigations. We recorded a large number of evp's. We shared our situation and evidence on TV and in the media. We jumped in head first trying to help families and individuals living with paranormal cases, some of these cases were demonic and required intervention by the church.

We sacrificed for this group and for paranormal awareness and education. We responded to hundreds of your emails and phone calls asking for help and assistance. We tried to respond to each one individually as we could. Over one year ago we started the Dangers of the Paranormal campaign, interviewing leading authorities in the paranormal and demonic fields about what they felt the real dangers of the paranormal were. We spoke at conventions among some of the leading names in paranormal field and talked to sensitives about things only sensitives truly understand.

We took on new team members and had some old ones filter away. These are some of the greatest people in the world. Dedicated to helping people and understanding the paranormal. We are eternally grateful for them and the sacrifices they made.

Three years we spoke out about what we love to do. We also got tired along the way.

After three years of straight SOCALPRS, we need a well deserved break as husband and wife. Life has brought other opportunities to both of us, career wise and life wise. We are also wishing to start a family. These are things outside the paranormal community that we are meant to pursue. As of this notice we are no longer accepting private cases and, as a group, we are closed. I have no doubt some of our members will transition over to other groups or start their own group.

The Dangers of the Paranormal will continue. We will still be popping up to speak publicly about what we love, with the emphasis on paranormal education and awareness. We are speaking locally at two youth programs in the area this Halloween on the topic of Ghosts and Dangers of the Paranormal. You may see me pop up on your tv as well in the future. Yes, we will still be around, but we are walking away from private investigations and taking a much needed separation in order to pursue other aspects of life.

We got in this to explore and document the paranormal. We were blessed with helping so many along the way. We hope you understand that this was not meant to be the full time job it ended of becoming. Yes, we love it. It has also taken a toll and the three year anniversary is appropriate for closing SOCALPRS as a group and exploring some of the other blessings life has granted us.

We are leaving up our pages, current evidence and resources. Well over a hundred thousand people have heard our evp's and seen our group represented as of this time last year. I know that number has increased dramatically since then.
