The Southern
California Paranormal Research
Society performed a preliminary
investigation at a undisclosed
location in Whittier. The
history of this area had been
researched and found to be
a park built over a cemetery.
Over the years, neighbors
called the police to report
apparitions, strange fogs
and mists in the park and
other strange sounds and sightings.
Interviews with several people
who had lived in the area
led us to perform this preliminary
investigation. All witnesses
stated that they had observed
strange phenomena in the area.
Others felt bad feelings when
entering the location. Research
indicated a high turnaround
in the homes surrounding the
area. No one liked living
there and cited paranormal
reasons. Research also indicated
that over 2000 people had
been buried at this location.
The park and a road had been
built over the bodies intered
their. We began our investigation
with skeptisism, as any paranormal
researcher should have.

Evidence:
Below are some
of the images taken on the
first investigation. Images
of orbs were taken in numerous
amounts. In many situations,
a mist or fog was also present
in the images. One image would
contain nothing and the next
image taken seconds later
would be filled with paranormal
activity. Many of these images
were taken at the direction
or request of the investigators
present. Everyone felt that
a huge amount of paranormal
activity was present and that
the spirits present were very
upset at what we were attempting
to document. View the images

cameras with a resolution
of 5.1, 6 and 8 megapixels
were used on this investigation.

Video
The video from
this investigation is still
being reviewed for potential
evidence and has yet to be
posted. We've concluded this
location is severly haunted.
We will be returning for a
second investigation in May,
2007.
EVP's
This park had
a dark oppressive feel to
the investigators. Many of
the evp's captured were very
dark and hostile in nature.
Some profanity is heard as
well from the spirits and
dark entities in this place.
A few evp's are more friendly
in nature. Most EVP sessions
start with the investigators
introducing themselves and
asking the spirits present
to identify themselves. The
sessions continue with specific
questions formulated from
the intuitions and senses
of the investigators. Additionally,
the investigators will ask
the spirits if they have crossed
over to the light and offer
to assist them in that capacity.
Because this was a preliminary
investigation and the spirits
in this place were so hostile
towards the investigators
present, we did not attempt
our regular evp sessions from
these spirits. The majority
of the evp's below were collected
because of the anger and hostility
of the spirits present. Investigators
apologized upon leaving the
area. Below you will find
some of the best evp's from
this investigation. More will
be added in the future.
A large number
of EVP's were captured at
this location. Several are
class A and can be heard by
using the built in media player
above. The title you will
see in the playlist is what
we believe the EVP to be saying.
This is determined by group
conscensus. All EVP's have
been listened to and reviewed
by all parties present that
night(5). All parties have
agreed that these voices do
not represent something said
by any living person present(5).
The 5 investigators present
that evening used 4 voice
recorders and 1 video camera
for documentation purposes.
5 recording sources were running
simultaneously in order to
prevent contamination or misrepresentation
of this evidence to the public.
