The Southern
California Paranormal Research
Society was called to investigate
an adult novelty store in
the Long Beach area. Owners
asked that the name of this
location be kept private.
Employees for years had experienced
strange phenomenon at this
location. Objects would come
tumbling off of the shelves
often aimed at employees.
The activity was so consistent
that the employees had named
the ghost "Casper".
Recent activity included a
visable sighting of the apparition
on the stores security cameras.
The employees never felt threatened.
They always felt as if "Casper"
was just playing tricks on
them. The Location had previously
been an auto repair garage.
Research indicated that an
employee at that location
had been crushed under a hydrolic
car lift. This employees name
was "Todd". Armed
with this knowledge we began
the investigation.

Below are some

first investigation. Images
of orbs were captured in various
areas of the location. Due
to the pornographic nature
of this location, images may
be censored for the general
public. A number of images
were not shown for censorship
reasons. Digital cameras with
a resolution of 5.1, 6 and
8 megapixels were used on
this investigation.

Video
Because of the
adult nature of this business,
we will not be showing any
video captured during this
investigation. We've concluded
this business is haunted and
will be returning for a second
investigation in May, 2007.
EVP's
Many
pictures taken in the back
bathroom section of the business
came out all black on two
of the investigators cameras.
Several investigators felt
that something of a paranormal
nature was present in that
location. As a result we focussed
on that area for the majority
of our EVP sessions. Most
EVP sessions start with the
investigators introducing
themselves and asking the
spirits present to identify
themselves. The sessions continue
with specific questions formulated
from the intuitions and senses
of the investigators. Additionally,
the investigators will ask
the spirits if they have crossed
over to the light and offer
to assist them in that capacity.
A number of the evp's below
contain names of the spirits
at this location. Additional
comments from the spirits
can be heard in their conversations
with the investigators as
well as their own comments
among themselves. Below are
some of the best evp's from
this investigation. More will
be added in the future.

All EVP's have
been listened to and reviewed
by all parties present that
night(5). All parties have
agreed that these voices do
not represent something said
by any living person present(5).
The investigators present
that evening used 4 voice
recorders and 1 video cameras
for documentation purposes.
5 recording sources were running
simultaneously in order to
prevent contamination or misrepresentation
of this evidence to the public.
