The Southern California Paranormal Research
Society Team is led by Sandi and Dan Mewhinney.
They work with and utilize a number of individuals
as investigators selected from some of the
best Paranormal Teams in the Southern California
area. This allows a rapid response to emergency
situations in all areas of Riverside, Orange,
an LA county. Each team member has his or
her unique talents and abilities that help
ensure every investigation performed is
of the highest caliber. Each of our team
members is equipped with the hands on training
for all equipment used for the documentation
of data. Each member was chosen for their
additional skills and abilities to form
one of the most solid investigation teams
on the west coast. Below you will find more
information specific to the SOCALPRS team
of investigators. Some of our investigators
prefer to remain anonmymous to publicity
and the public eye. Their focus in on helping
and assisting those in need and we are so
grateful that they assist us.

below. We now have affiliate groups being

Sandi is the wife of Founder of the
Southern California Paranormal Research
Society. From a young age she was a
aware of spirit based activity. This
increased awareness allows her to have
an amazing interaction with the spirit
world. Sandi has captured a large number
of Class A EVP's. She is a dedicated
investigator and the EVP specialist
for the group. Sandi is also Dan's wife.
They were married in August of 2007.
As a team they act as one, connecting
without words. They are so closely bonded
that many people refer to them as one:
Instead of saying "Dan and Sandi",
most people call the "San and Dandi".

Dan Mewhinney is the Founder of the
Southern California Paranormal Research
Society. He has been aware of the paranormal
since he was a young child. He has a
keen sensitivity to natural and spirit
based energy. He is also considered
an EVP magnet and records an astounding
number of class A EVP's. He tends to
have no fear when dealing with the paranormal.
Instead he respects it and treats it
as an equal counterpart. Dan had the
idea a year ago of starting a support
group for those who are sensitive and
dealing with paranormal problems. This
group is "The
Southern California Paranormal Research
Subjects". With the future
success of SOCALPRS, we can be better
equipped to assist those in need of
help as an official extension of the
Southern California Paranormal Research
Society. Dan is the audio/video/EVP
specialist for SOCALPRS. He and Sandi
were wed in August of 2007.

Shelley

Shelley is the teams professional medium
and psychic. For over 30 years she has
been a professional medium and pet psychic
helping thousands of clients. She has
an extremely high accuracy when performing
her reads. Shelley has also been instrumental
in assisting with spirit rescue, acting
as the interpreter between lost souls
and other team members. We are proud
to have Shelley associated with the
SOCALPRS team.
Bill is an Investigator and Technology
Expert affiliate for SOCALPRS. A face
to face encounter with a shadow person
several years ago opened up his eyes
to the paranormal. Since then he has
dedicated his life to researching and
documenting the paranormal. Bill has
even produced documentaries showcasing
paranormal activity in such places as
New Orleans/Louisiana post-Katrina and
the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. He
is the Lead Technology expert and an
affiliate Investigator for The Southern
California Paranormal Research Society.

Anji is a Legal Secretary and Massage
Therapist and was raised in Long Beach,
California. Anji has had previous
experience in paranormal investigation
with smaller informal groups. Anji
first became interested in the paranormal
at a very young age. She was able
to see and hear spirits and even remembered
her past life. Therapist have investigated
all of what was told to them and everything
was proven to be true. Research on
names, dates, children, ...everything
she told them was validated. Anji
is also our Lead Research Investigator
and Case Manager for The Southern
California Paranormal Research Subjects.

Affiliation: Nocturne Investigations
Candace, (a.k.a. - Vampire Kitten) has
spent her life learning and understanding
elements of Ritual and Occultic practices.
She and her fiance, Kurt, originally
formed Nocturne Investigations as a
paranormal team that tackled the cases
nobody wants. This duo is dedicated
to paranormal research, metaphysical
growth, occult studies, scientific evidence,
and helping those who have yet to understand
what the paranormal is. Their work ethics
and impressive understanding of spells,
curses, demonology and other ritual
aspects has been a great asset helping
to resolve some of our darker cases.

Kurt has been involved in studying metaphysics
and the occult since the age of six.
He has spent most of his early life
traveling all across North America and
Europe in pursue of knowledge, development
of his inner senses, and finding answers
to the great mysteries of life and human
existance. Kurt is engaged to Candace.Together
they founded Nocturne Investigation
as a group dedicated to assisting some
of the darker cases that often stump
standard 'scientific only' teams. SOCALPRS
is proud to have them as affiliate investigators
as well as loyal friends.
Sabrina has been involved in studying
metaphysics since the age of eleven.
She has spent most of her life involved
in the studies of religion ,Spiritual
Philosophy, Mythical Philosophy , Dream
Therapy and Analysis. She has an amazing
knowledge of natural herbs and currently
a highly respected Tarot Reader, empathic
Intuitive, and an artist. Surrounded
by her children and loving partner in
the heart of Riverside, she provides
an amazing balance to needs of the client
as well as the team. She is an excellent
researcher and interviewer as well,
providing answers to solutions in many
of our cases.

Riverside
John Fowler is an excellent addition
to our team. Having lived in haunted
homes in his youth, he became interested
in the paranormal at a very young
age. Over the years he had followed
and his refined his skills. John is
our Lead Research Investigator and
Case Manager for our cases in Riverside.
This ER/ X-Ray Technician by day has
a background in investigations as
a Security Policeman and undercover
OSI Investigator (Air Force), private
security/investigations, and worked
as a Collections skip tracer upon
his discharge. He is married and raises
two sons. He knows there is more out
there than mainstream science leads
us to believe, and wishes gain knowledge
and proof of the paranormal and to
help others who are experiencing the
things that both he and his family
have experienced.
MORE ABOUT THE FOUNDERS:
The Southern California Paranormal Research Society
was founded by Sandi and Dan. These two soul mates
met in October of 2006 and immediately knew their
lives were destined to be together. Both Sandi and
Dan consider themselves sensitive since birth and
have always shared a connection and deep respect
for the spirit world. They were married in August
of 2007.
As
members of several local paranormal groups,
they both realized their gifts allowed them
a different view of the paranormal world
around them. Other groups shunned their
abilities, preferring to stick to strictly
scientific methods. As a result, Sandi and
Dan knew they needed to start their own
group that welcomed those with similar abilities
as well as form a support group for those
living with the paranormal. Sandi and Dan
wanted bring to the forefront a new vision
and a new style of paranormal investigators.
Each founder uses his/her sensitive and
medium skills to help in the acquisition
of scientific data used in documenting various
forms of paranormal activity. While many
groups push science as the primary tool
they use on investigations, SOCALPRS does
the opposite. The results are astounding.
The team has captured some of the most impressive
scientific documentation in a short amount
of time.
Combining
our natural senses with investigative skills
has led to one conclusion: While attempting
to assist those living in a haunted situation,
the evidence we collect tends to be on a
higher caliber than most groups who refuse
to include the psychic/sensitive investigators
and rely on scientific methods alone. We
also have a high success rate in diagnosing
and solving the clients paranormal problems
This is a win/win scenario, bringing resolutions
to those families and individuals living
in fear of the paranormal and allowing us
to possess a consistently high caliber of
EVP's, photographic, video and scientific
evidence.
We
look at ourselves as Bloodhounds. Science
will soon catch up to proving what we sense
and feel every day. We tend to personally
relate to many of our clients, as a majority
are sensitive and aware of the paranormal
in the same way we are. We also have a huge
amount of respect for the paranormal. Treating
these things that go bump in the night as
our once human counterparts provides an additional
level of understanding on our level as well
as theirs. We acknowledge them, treat them
with respect and ask permission before any
attempts are made to acquire data or scientific
evidence. As a result they usually treat us
with an equal level of respect and provide
the scientific data and documentation we need
to help solve the case. This is a very unique
and unprecedented methodology. The results
speak for themselves. We are proud to bring
our way of living and investigating to the

in the quality of work we do for our clients.

Debbie, Ann and Hank formed this team
in the Deserts of Arizona. They have
a number of private investigations under
their belt and have a strong respect
for the spirit world. With high investigation

The CRIS group is dedicating to helping
and assisting those in the Oklahoma
area living with paranormal problems.
They have the same spirit as SOCALPRS,

Lisa G, the founder of CRIS is also

and Sandi. She is spearheading and

Laurie
Champion, the director of Pinellas/Pasco Paranormal,
has been in this field for thirty years. She
